These terms and conditions apply to all sales transactions between HuncaMunka and any person, firm or company (“the Purchaser”) placing an order with HuncaMunka for the manufacture and/or supply of any goods.  HuncaMunka by accepting any order for goods from the Purchaser agrees to sell and the Purchaser agrees to purchase such Goods at the price stated on this website on the sole basis of the terms and conditions of HuncaMunka stated herein.

1. Purchasing Goods

When purchasing goods on this website you warrant that the personal information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate and current in all respects.  If your personal information changes when please notify us on 0161 427 8830 (Monday – Friday 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.) or email info@huncamunka.co.uk.  You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.

You place your order request for goods from the website by clicking on the confirm order button at the end of the online order process.  Once you have placed your order, we will send to you an acknowledgement  providing you with a payment reference and the value of your order which has been debited to your credit/debit card/paypal account.

2. Returns and cancellations

Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order in accordance with the cancellation section of the site, our acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place when we have dispatched the goods ordered by you.  To cancel your order after it has been dispatched to you, you will need to follow the Returns Policy and Procedure.

In the event an item or items are out of stock,  or we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment then we reserve the right to not accept your order.

If, for whatever reason we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you by email or telephone to advise.

3. Complaints & customer service

The Purchaser should inform HuncaMunka of any problems by telephoning 0161 427 8830 or email info@huncamunka.co.uk.  Complaints are taken very seriously by HuncaMunka and will be dealt with within 5 working days, although most complaints can be corrected within a few hours.  Please note that the Purchaser is welcome to contact HuncaMunka on any issue relating to their order on the contact telephone number, contact form on the website or email address listed above.  HuncaMunka operating hours are 9.00 a.m – 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

4. Account Details & customer privacy

By using the website, you agree to keep your password and account details confidential, and to take all reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access to your account.  You are responsible for all actions that occur in relation to your account.  If you forget your password we will reset it upon your request and send it to the email address you registered with.

HuncaMunka collects the information provided by the Purchaser at the time of ordering and uses this information lawfully and in accordance with Data ProtectionAct 1998.  Information is collected by HuncaMunka to process the Purchaser’s order and also to provide the highest level of customer service possible.

HuncaMunka does not sell or pass customer’s email addresses or other details to other parties nor do we bombard our customers with endless emails and leaflets.  If you order from us, we may contact you about your order and we may, on occasion, email or write to you with information about our products and special offers.  If you would prefer not to receive any promotional material from us, please let us know.

5. Pricing

Prices for Goods include standard packaging and VAT where applicable.  The price does not include the delivery of the order to the Purchaser.  This is an additional cost, unless otherwise stated.  We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered on to the system.  Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.

6. Secure ordering and payment

We put orders from our website (and credit card orders by other means) through SagePay and PayPal. Both leading Internet payment services.  After making an order on our site, you will be taken to SagePay’s secure server to enter your credit card details.  This information is then protected in transit over the Internet by SSL encryption.  SagePay’s security policy can be viewed here t http://www.sagepay.com/security_policy.  You may see a completed padlock or key in your browser when you are on the payment page.  Long obsolete web browsers (typically version 3 or before) may not make a secure connection or may display an unnecessary security warning because their technology or internal security certificates are out of date.

Payment can me made by any major credit card and will be debited and cleared from your account before the dispatch of your goods.  All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.  If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or subsequently refuses to , or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.  You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours.

We will retain the legal ownership of goods until full payment has been made by you and such payment has been received by us.  Legal ownership of the goods will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you.

Goods will only be despatched once payment has been received in full.

7.  Delivery

We will make every effort to despatch orders within 3 working days of receipt – although orders are usually sent out by Royal Mail unless discussed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order.   The standard delivery prices listed on the website include a 2-7 day delivery  service within the UK mainland.  Deliveries outside the UK mainland will be between 7-10 days, depending upon destination.  Deliveries outside of the UK Mainland and EU will incur a surplus delivery cost – please email us at info@huncamunka.co.uk for a quotation.  All international orders will be treated separately.  We accept orders and ship to UK and European  addresses only.  The Royal Mail will attempt delivery and if the recipient is not at home a card will be left with written instructions asking them to contact their local post office to arrange collection.  It is then the recipient’s responsibility to ensure that a recipient or representative is present to sign for the delivery.  If the delivery is returned to HuncaMunka, re-delivery will not be possible and the order will be cancelled and Purchaser refunded in full.

HuncaMunka does not accept any liability whatsoever for delayed delivery caused by any third party.  As soon as you have received the goods, you will assume all risk in the goods.  Upon delivery of the goods to you, we will also provide you with sufficient details to enable you to;

a) exercise your right of cancellation and b) address any intended cancellation or complaints to the correct place of business.

8. Product and Product Variations

Please bear in mind that our handmade range of products are genuinely handmade in small volumes so you may encounter some variation in colour, texture, scent or wrapping between batches or orders and as they are pictured on this site or in any other marketing material.  if you do have any problems are queries, please let us know.

We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing products on the website; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that product description on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free.

Any products and services, and any samples thereof, we may provide to you are for personal use only.  You may not sell or re-sell any of the products and services, and any samples thereof, you receive from us.

9. Samples

Because we are a small business, we are sadly unable to supply goods on approval nor are we able to supply free samples of our soaps by post.  If you would like to try our soaps, we recommend you order one full-size bar from this website.  This costs less than £7 delivered in to the UK.  We are so confident that you will enjoy it that if you are looking to purchase wholesale, we will of course take the cost of this off your first order.

All content available on the Website, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, data compilations and software and compilation thereof (the “Content”) is the property of HuncaMunka, our affiliates, our partners or our licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.  Nothing may be reproduced in whole or part by electronic means or in print, without the prior written permission of the company.

We are not responsible for the content of any off-website pages are any other websites linked to or from the Website.

11.  FORCE MAJEURE

HuncaMunka will exercise every reasonable effort to meet the requested dispatch date.  HuncaMunka shall not, however, be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond our reasonable control, such as but not limited to compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.

12. Jurisdiction and contact details

JURISDICTION:  These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with relevant United Kingdom law and the relevant courts of the United Kingdom will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to the Agreement.

None of the above terms affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
